Meet Kendra

Certifying Doula with Doula Training Canada

I am a mom of 3 children (2 boys and 1
girl), I am a wife, daughter, sister, niece
and friend. I have been interested in birth
for many years now but it took having my
own children to ignite a passion for
wanting to help other families. I want you
to feel prepared and in control of your
birth and postpartum experience.
Becoming a parent happens in an instant
and it can be overwhelming and
confusing at times. My goal is to take care
of you and your family to help the
transition to parenthood be comfortable,
calm and restful.

“Giving birth should be your greatest achievement, not your greatest fear."

—Jane Weideman

We are so glad we hired Kendra as our doula, this was one of the best decisions we made for our pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey. During our pregnancy it was helpful to have her on our team as we made decisions, she kept us informed, was supportive and was non-judgemental in that support. Subsequently, it was a huge blessing to have her at our birth as well, considering we weren’t sure if she would be allowed to be there because of the pandemic. Her presence was peaceful, reassuring and confident. Having someone we knew and trusted there brought peace and comfort. And finally, having her postpartum care and support was invaluable. Knowing that she had been with us during the pregnancy and birth helped us feel extra supported as we moved into the post-partum period, as she knew our journey. Again, she was a caring, peaceful, helpful and non judgemental presence in our home as we adjusted to being parents. Having her support helped make this time feel less overwhelming. She cared for us and our babe so well. Therefore, it goes without saying that we would highly recommend Kendra!
